Saturday after.....

It has been a while since i posted. Well i placed 10th in Belligao tournament and got 1k back..not bad the entry was 1k......

Last nite there were 600 runner in the 2k pot limit holdem tournament. 53 got paid.

after 14 hours i finished .........drum rollll....................55th.......

i had a late postion decisoin to make with pocket 10s and i pushed (play to win) and got beat by A Q

if i win that pot not only would i of been in the money but i would of had healthy chips as well.

today is another day.

we have changed hotels from bellagio to venitian. The bellagio is very busy with not the nicest people in the world.

the ventitian is a very nice hotel and it is where jim plays his poker.

Well it has been a couple of days since my last post.

we arrived in vegas 12 hour delay.....and a refueling stop in iceland.

bellagio is ok....very busy but not in a bad location.

not doing overly well poker wise. lost tournament today but pick up a few crumbs in the cash game at the ventitian

tomorrow is heads up day so i need to have a good nites sleep.

Day before Vegas

Well last nite in uk for a few weeks.

Wednesday before Vegas

Not long to go. Visititng kids tonite for dinner in Norwich.

We won our Daily Telegraph pairs golf match against Woburn 4 and 3.

Played two 500 heads up matches yesterday against The Camel..... My record versus the camel is now 0 -6!!!!!!!

I then watch a guy take 3k off him in headsup matches.

No more poker till vegas live or online.

Have to go.........JP Kelly is MSNing me and he just finished 33rd in 2.5k wsop event.

Sunday before Vegas

Well played 1k walsall last nite. Rivered twice early when miles in front with full houses in consectuctive hands.

Played well to get back to 30k in chips only to play aces bad and lose my last 19k chips.

No luton tonite.............chill nite with sandra.

We have our daily telegraph golf knockout tomorrow so a good nites sleep is in order.

one week to go

One week before we head to Vegas. Walsall main event tonite......good practice for vegas 15k starting stack.

8 Days and Counting

8 Days to go..... the funds have arrived into my us bank account so all is good. I played the 500 freezeout last nite at Walsall. Finished 39 from 90 hard grind.

Played one hour of cash before tourney and won 600 so freeroll.

It was my turn to buy dinner (Jim Ried and myself taked turns). We had a very good indian across the road from the casino and the bill was only 20 pounds. Another result for me.

I am thinking about playing Walsall saturday. 1000 main event. No luton tonite.

9 Days to Vegas

Only 9 days before i leave my loving wife and kids for the poker mecca. I just received a call from James Browning and he is waiting at the airport in manchester for his flight to vegas.

I am considering playing the 500 at walsall tonite for some pre-vegas practice.

I am in daily conversations with my "room dawg" Jim Mcshane who i travelled and stayed with last year.

Pierson is at home today in the love nest and assisting in chasing my funds with our bank so i have dollars when in vegas.
